We love working with all kinds of event enthusiasts! From your backyard baby shower, corporate gala, storefront showcase or even setting the stage for your theatrical production. We offer design consulting and permanent installations for clients who want a certain look for an extensive period of time such as al fresco lighting, hanging floral trellises or seasonal furnishings.

Q. How far in advance should I plan my event design

We typically ask our clients to plan as far in advance as possible -the standard time is 12 months. During the summer months, our events can book out 18 months in advance. 

Q. Do you work with venues other than your preferred list?

Yes! We work all throughout New England for special events big and small! We love the creativity new and unique venues can offer. Just send us your inquiry and we will let you know our availability for that weekend. We do set a max for events per weekend based on each of their décor needs. We want to ensure we give the best quality of our work to ever client that chooses to work with Ryan Designs. 

Q. What is the difference between event design and event planning? 

Our designers specialize in assisting the client or planner to hone in on the overall look and aesthetic of the event based on budget and their Wishlist. We assist with creating multiple design boards for lighting, draping, curated lounge sets and custom-built projects ranging from a fully transformed space to more minimal details. With these visual boards, it allows all parties to envision the design, meet their needs and review budget parameters. From there, we'll move forward into collaborating with their other event elements and vendors.

Q. Do you work on Events other than weddings?

We LOVE to travel! We work all throughout New England and can certainly go where requested! Every event is special, and we truly believe that our quality of work is a very crucial to set the scene and backdrop for any occasion. We have a basic event minimum as well as our peak season minimum for certain weekends. As long as the client meets them and understands the travel & lodging expense, we’re booking our tickets ASAP!
